No thats for all the work done to my engine, for the pistons I would wager it was about 700 to 1000$ worth of labor.

the pistons are nice, and if you buy some new rods, like forged titanium or something, it will be even better. and you can turbo it, in the future or whatever, but you will have to get a decompression gasket, and you can only run, safely, 7-9psi. some people have run 22psi or something, and it ran good with no probs for a long time.

Yeah, sure.

22psi? Probably every single person on US Lancer forum would love to see that 4G94.

Best bet would be to get the pistons, see how you like em, and if you decide to go turbo possibly pick up a set of stock pistons from a part out and sell the buschur pistons.
why pull em out... just get a decompression gasket...

ok i thought that forged pistons are just stronger than stock alongside new rods...which means that the compression is not higher ... high compression pistons have a dome shape on the head to decrease the size of the chamber to make higher compression ... so forged pistons and pauter rods are ideal for turbo... right ??

High compression pistons can have whatever shape you want them to have. The material they are made out of does not affect the compression but the shape of the piston. You could have cast iron high compression or low compression pistons if you would really want to. Anything forged aluminum is good for a FI application because that specific material is soooo much stronger then cast iron. Low compression forged aluminum pistons with stronger rods are the best combination for you FI application.
