IM and cel
you're idling to high from what i'm seeing. The idle being that high will trip that code. Turn the Idle Bleed Screw in, clockwise, until the idle is back to 600-700 rpms. Then the code should go off shortly after that.
If it doesn't go off let me know but that should take care of that.

Doesn't the IM have a gasket? Is it possible that he caused a leak in that when installing the IM? if so, easy fix, but this is a shot in the dark in case the other suggestions don't work.
plz check the vaccum lines and all the connections and send a check payable to pete lopez to po box..... wait nevermind. ok yes im lame, but at least i try gl amby
It doesn't matter if you turned the screw down. If you have a vaccum leak, the idle will still be high.
I'm not sure on a Lancer if you guy's have 2 hoses going in the AIC. He might have switched them.
I would run the car and spray carb cleaner around the manifold or hoses to find the leak.

The idle went down, it was originally around 1100-1200 now its like 700-600. I'm gonna wait and see if thats why the CEL came on or whether its something more indepth.

I hope you get this figured out. What exactly is the code that you get (if it comes up again....)
