Don't mod a car you don't want. It's that simple. If you know you're going to get a better car, then start parting out what you have now. It's easier in the longrun.

this thing really makes a difference! so far after having it on a short time and some hard driving: it pulls lowend to top end. butt dyno says the gain is about as much as my SRI but instead of mid/topend, the pulley feels like it made a difference through out the powerband. When i step on the pedal the engine seems a lot more responsive. The biggest difference i've noticed is the 2-3 shift on my auto. 60mph to 80mph goes by noticabley faster. when the car shifts to 3rd at like 62ish the car jumps forward and pulls harder. 0 to 60 is a lot quicker now. i can actually chirp the tires quite a bit now, which is saying a lot for an auto lancer. i have intake/header/exhaust/piggy version2, automatic 2004 OZ. all those mods gave me great mid range and top end gains, but this pulley really helps in the low end where most of the other mods missed. i've only had it on for a short drive home and i can already feel the gain. i didn't even reset the ecu so i'm gonna do some extended driving and hopefully the ecu will learn the difference and make even more of a difference.
time for some spirited driving! i'll post back later with more info after i get some more seat time

WOOT! I just placed my order a couple minutes ago! After following along with this thread...I couldn't resist the temptation to get my hand on a pulley. Now that I have the money I can finally get it! I'm about to have my timing belt changed too so I guess its pretty good timing. I think i have like...59,300 Miles on mine.

for 3 bucks you can go to home depot and get this 10 foot pipe that fits over most wrenches and stuff and they cut it for free. I got 2 foot longs, 2 1 1/2 foot longs, a 2 foot long and a 3 foot long breaker bar.
