Talking Just got the NEW ///RRM Crank pulley installed!

I got my new Road///Race Crank pulley installed today!!!!

this thing really makes a difference! so far after having it on a short time and some hard driving: it pulls lowend to top end. butt dyno says the gain is about as much as my SRI but instead of mid/topend, the pulley feels like it made a difference through out the powerband. When i step on the pedal the engine seems a lot more responsive. The biggest difference i've noticed is the 2-3 shift on my auto. 60mph to 80mph goes by noticabley faster. when the car shifts to 3rd at like 62ish the car jumps forward and pulls harder. 0 to 60 is a lot quicker now. i can actually chirp the tires quite a bit now, which is saying a lot for an auto lancer. i have intake/header/exhaust/piggy version2, automatic 2004 OZ. all those mods gave me great mid range and top end gains, but this pulley really helps in the low end where most of the other mods missed. i've only had it on for a short drive home and i can already feel the gain. i didn't even reset the ecu so i'm gonna do some extended driving and hopefully the ecu will learn the difference and make even more of a difference.

time for some spirited driving! i'll post back later with more info after i get some more seat time

Gabe at Road Race installed it for me. the install didn't isn't very difficult, except for the crank pulley bolt. that thing is torqued down to 134 ft lb.! they he used an impact gun an it came off really easy. with and impact gun you could install this in less than an hour. now i got some more blingage in my engine bay to match my ///RRM header. lol. too bad u can't really see it.

LOL, ermm, yeah, its not that kinda of mod chief. its not like your ecu is going to see "wait a tick, is my crank pulley 4 lbs lighter?!? by god it is! engine bay, thrusters at maximum, lets open the flood gates fellas. max speed!"

but good review nonetheless

Twisty you always got some awesome reviews from RRM Products...more like raving. It's awesome though that it made a significant difference on the butt-dyno. Until next product from RRM and another great review from Twisty

btw...Green Psycho you are psycho .

it seems this thing gave me noticalbly more torque and it just likes to rev a lot more. if i mash the pedal from a dead stop or at low rpms the car will rev up and get into the powerband very quickly. best $99 you can spend on a performance mods imo.

heres the pic they took of my car

actually today it seems a bit different. cruising on the freeway @ 80mph the car is usually at about 3300rpms. well now it cruises at the same rpms but i can tell i don't have to dig into the pedal as much to hold that speed. it's like it takes less effort to cruise, i can tell
