If you saw the turbo kit I have, its like starting from the beginning. TSI's turbo is so complex, they hardly give you any instructions at all and expect you to know exactly where every piece goes. I hooked the nitrous up, knowing like usual something was going to go wrong because it never goes right on the first time it seems anymore.

Seriosly. he should have skipped the NOS and just used the cash for bolts ons. less power, more reliable though. or just saved up for turbo, more power more reliable.

you have a turbo, and you want NOS, 10 to 1 says he blows that second set of pistons.

i love nitrious i havent had a problem with my set up yet! if installed correctly and used correctly it will not do anything to your engine! i am saving up for roadraces aftermarket pistons for like $700 so i can put a bigger shot on there

it can't be said enough...search

good luck in the future with getting the car back on the road. i think you need to have a little talk with your friend maybe even get a hold of his credit card. NOS just isn't a good idea. there are a few guys on here with a small shot that claim the engine is fine....don't believe 'em. it's only a matter of time...atleast you learned early.

I plan on taking all my mods off, so I can see if whatever is wrong will be covered under warranty. It will be the Mitsubisbhi dealers prob. to find out what went wrong. Another problem could've been that the motor isn't exactly broken in yet. I only have 10 k on it.

Hahahaha...you're kidding right? Dealerships aren't stupid, they're going to realize that you did something to the engine when you come in with screwed up pistons, rings, valves, and god knows what else. The most you'll get is a diagnosis, followed by a huge repair bill.

I've heard there is something that they spray into the intake side that reacts with the presence of NOS only. Even if you take everything off there is still that way of them finding out and you will have to repair it on your own.

You're the reason Mistu tries to deny peoples genuine claims.
