No idea, the purpose of the nitrous oxide is to cool the intercooler, thus cooling the air, which in turn increases the engines efficiency. There is no set numbers for this kind of thing, it depends on a lot of other factors.

There's my point. If you are going to run nitrous run it the way it was supposed to be hooked up that's what we did. I learn from my mistakes and I know probably tomorrow I might have a slight seizure.

It probably won't take 2 months for you, most of the time for me was spent waiting for parts to arrive, it took a week to get a sensor, another week to figure out it wasn't the sensor, some 2 weeks or some to get the valves done, and another month to get the pistons in.

At least I got the money to back it up with what went wrong. Sad story with what happened to get $$. I don't care send a copy of the thread to them. I'm gonna man up and pay for the expense. I told the guys to leave my mods on that have my car. I know that the dealership is probably going to laugh, be angry, or make fun of me. Oh well it is labeled as S*** happens!

Who blows up a motor with a 50 shot? I used a cold fusion wet nitrous kit, with a 125hp shot, and it took 6-7 runs before i blew up my motor...then i went and bought a turbo! I used an SAFC II for the no nitrous/nitrous condition. worked pretty well

Hey swift how's that Redline Mod chip working out for you? You don't need to take your car to the dealer to be made fun of... heck, we'll make fun of you for free. Seriously, how's that working for you... haha

Redline mod chip actually works, they have dyno charts. They sponsor car shows, so obviously they are well known. Look on ebay I don't know if they have any more for sale for Lancers, but it was well worth my money and the 30-35 HP.

My engine isn't blown. I think it is definitely misfiring on one cylinder though. That could explain the knock and back pressure.

oh, my bad, hope you can fix it

Edit: Sorry, forgot something ---> One of the times i ran on the track, the piston smacked the top of the spark plug, closing the gap. It was the cause of my misfiring, did you check that?

I haven't got around to it yet. Thanks for telling me that, I will be on the lookout. What is the point of the SAFC II, or more so how does it work?

Perhaps for a V8 but the not even a piggyback fully tuned specifically for your car can get you 30-35whp without extensive mods. The best RRM PB can get you, according to RRM, is 10-15% hp increase, which on our cars is maybe 10-20 hp. This chip doesn't do nearly what RRMs PB does, as far as changing the fuel map, and this chip does not even come close to what Greddy's E-manage does/can do with the right tuning... so tell me how one chip, with no wire splicing, no tunability, no dyno sheet specific information can produce higher HP gains then other more expensive tuning devices? Their dyno sheet by the way is for a completly different car... that should be enough to tell you something.
