Evo Conversion

I know someone's going to come in and try to get on my case on this but here it goes. As some of you may know, I was in an accident couple weeks ago in my OZ. I've been searching for parts to replace the hood, front bumper, headlights, and fenders. I'm thinking seriously on a EVO VII techsport kit... but i'm also curious as to doing an EVO VIII front conversion... do the parts for an EVO VIII bolt up if i go the whole nine yards? does the latch line up? the headlights bolt up to the radiator support? fenders and bumper bolt in? Is there someone out there that knows for a fact it does? I know... go buy and evo... but I haven't been about performance... maybe in the future. Don't bash.. don't hate... I just want answers... So if anyone out there can help please do so... Thanks again!

since the evo and lancer are built on the same chassis I would say yes it is possible, but do you have the resources to make it come together. the fenders should bolt up along with the bumper, probably need the headlight mounts. also, why have evo front w/out evo rear? doing the rear a la evo would be SERIOUS undertaking, only to be done by experienced and reputable bodyshop. good luck man.
btw, pm me if you need help sourcing oem parts as my body shop is not too far from carol stream.

pretty sure they dont bolt up without some serious work, theres a reason the evo has a different wheelbase and demensions

i believe that evo has a wider body then our lancers, i dont think youd be able to do a direct swap.

No. Get a body kit if you want an Evo front end. Otherwise it's going to be all custom work.

Is that an '02/03?

EDIT: NM, I didn't even look at the full pic before I asked that. Pretend I didn't ask a stupid question.

Yeah, I was referring to the pics in the post prior to mine. I'm definitely not paying much attention to my posts tonight. According to their site, I don't think they sell the kit anymore. I guess you were right about hte limited edition thing.

wider body doesn't meant it was a wider frame... the fenders are different in the front and back which flare out more so that's why i was wondering if it would bolt up to the frame...
