Broke My Lancer..............

..............sort of. I hit something BIG in the road a few days ago and took it to get an alignment and found this. The left rear shock is broke and the lower control arm is bent. Everything else looks straight as far as I can tell.

Here are 2 pics. Just a wee bit bent.

Anyone got a spare left-rear control arm for sale?

Time to upgrade to a ralliart rear end. You will get the rear rotors too!!!

I don't know. Me and my girl went back but couldn't find anything. It was at night though on a semi-busy road.

that sucks man... i hit a curb and bent my front right tirod and axel.... had those fixed for a wek and the wheel kept rubbing and i was pulling out of a parking lot turing left and the right wheel went right.... i broke the A-bar or whatever it is that connects the whole wheel.... after all fixed about 8 hundred bucks to fix everything... not including the fender the got smashed when it landed on the wheel.... suspension sucks to fix!!!

Car is now fixed! Only took me about 2 hours total including putting a new shock on the other rear side as well.

Where did you get the parts and how much did it end up costing you? Congrats on the fix! Always better to do it yourself

I got the control arm for $50 from a salvage yard and 2 rear shocks for $150 online.

Glad to see your up and running, I guess your bushings wernt seized as bad as mine when I took mine off. Course I had to press them out and new ones in, yours problaby came ready to go.

Wait...what?! That's possible?! If I could get rotors in the back I would not care about having 5 lugs in the back and four in the front. Would it be possible to do the front also?


BTW...how much would something like that cost?

damn, one of my friends did that in a golf cart. messed up the whole steering rods and everything, it was dragging the front right tire.
