Steel mesh intake filter?
Does anyone have any experience with or know anything about stainless steel mesh filters? I've never heard of them till a few days ago, and it seems like a cool idea to me. The link below goes to an example on ebay.

Seems odd, it would have to be some superfine mesh to catch particles in the air that most foam/paper filters do catch, but if it does work it would probably be much better airflow than foam/paper.... sounds too good to be true
I believe most Blitz filters are Stainless (SUS). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I dunno benefits/shortcomings, but I know it's probably third in popularity for filters after cotton and foam.
Vibrant makes a stainless filter. You could email them and ask them about it, they were very helpful and quick to respond when I asked them questions before. The filter is about $35 on driverfx.com
