I'm not trying to bash on RRM, because I like their stuff but, why does this put out more hp then the RRM sri?

It's a great option for people (like me) that want to help the engine breathe better without putting on a noisemaker like an SRI and also a good option for anybody with warranty concerns. My WORKS filter should be here by this upcoming Wednesday, so I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Before their intake came out they were saying it would give you 10hp. So if that HP is true, then this would be half that.

MATH FTW!

ok so i can say my rrm intake is special and puts 50 whp to my car.. so do the math on that... yeah my point exactly.. unless someone a customer that bought the rrm sri does a legit dyno.. then u can't really do math b/c u dont have numbers to ur "math"

Heh, dude. I am the last person on here to trust anything RRM says. Everyone knows that. My post was sarcasm. Also, until WORKs or someone who buys the drop-in posts a dyno (just like you said), we have no solid numbers from them. So that puts us back to where we started: with nothing.

And even with dynos what has happened? People just claim that the dyno was innaccurate or that it was staged. So...you gotta find other ways to choose what you want.

Personally I would go with WORKs. Out of the supporting vendors on this forum, which one is working on a performance 08 Lancer for SCCA competition? WORKs.

Nice! For the people who wants something else, this is going to be a nice option. Let's just hope it's not overpriced.

It's great that there's finally a drop-in air filter replacement, but $130 seems like way to much. Why not wait for a K&N or something else that will be at least half the price of this?
