and why are you advertising this? thats the dumbest thing i've seen a vendor do to date: "omg guys, this guy almost died and wrecked the hell out of his car, but none of that matters cause the rrm parts are OK. w00t!"
come on grow up, he got lucky, his parts got lucky, its not some RRM specific fire/crash proof fabrication process
and where the heck do you get bombproof from? umm, he wrecked and his car caught on fire, he didn't throw a stick of dynamite into his engine bay.

Honestly though, this is a little silly. I'm in no way trying to rip on RRM, but do you really think the header and strut tower bar would have been damaged if they'd been made by someone else? And on a side note I can't stress enough how glad I am nobody was killed in this accident.
all i know is that i signed up using your blingo link hobie
and if anyone else would have made these parts, they would have evaporated on contact.
RRM's parts > Chuck Norris

Lame? Just an interesting story to share that is not a vendor thread but... Same haters show up over nothing! Just interesting story as told by the owner of the car. Technically though, RRM Header ceramic coated looks like new. All our headers come ceramic coated at no extra charge! Withstand 1500 degrees F. This fire must have been 1499 degrees F.
Thanks for the opening!

im not understandin whats "lame" about it... its just showing how awsome RRM products are...
Dave im sure if a car crashed and it was owned everywhere except for some extreme fenders, you'd be all over that like a fat kid on cake, or a money grubbing bodyshop on one of your kits.

I have to add my $0.02.
I must agree that this is a lame thread. Thats like if you look at a house hit by a hurricane and see the chimney survived... big friggin deal. Am I going to find out who built that chimney and make sure that I buy that one for my house? No, I am going to say: "wow... I feel bad... that person has nothing left of their house...".
If I were a vendor, on the other hand... I guess I might want to boost the ratings of me and my parts.
All in all, I think this was a poor way to insert a plug for your products. I have nothing against RRM, as I think I will be buying a few of their products in the near future, but as a person that was just not classy. Sorry.

Mods... seriously... just start deleting all these "lame" Posts that keep appearing by a total newb that reeks of old troublesome members.
