breaking the 300hp mark

well, after reading what the guy has on the EVOm board who has a 300hp lancer, i've decided to begin my quest. after my next batch of goodies i'm going to start putting money aside to get up a nice chunk of money and start the process...the thought of a 300hp lancer just makes me grin..i'm going to have a talk with the guys down at vivid racing to see what can be done..

I'm On A Mission....

i'll add a update note in my sig for those to see how much money i've accumulated...by summertime, or begining of fall, i will have it... ;D

and i'm sure it'd be alot easier if i bought an evo, i'm sure there's always a alot easier option, but i prefer to do it this way.

you can do it with a 4G94, but be ready to pull the motor and do some SERIOUS rebuilding.

Why is everybody so quick to sugjest a new car.
The Lancer ES/OZ can do 300HP yeah it might cost a few grand but really if somebody wants to throw the money at their cars let them.
I don't know tuner history but dident it start with lil econo boxes that made laughable HP.
I don't know bout you but I bought this car less than a year ago, and even tho it wasent the exact car I wanted. I don't think I could trade it for anything less than an EVO when the time comes.

In the mean time I'm gonna give the car all I can and see what it can/will do.
300HP has been seen before. I don't think I'll ever hit 300 but I'd like to see 250-275ish.

Rock on dude hit that 300hp mark, hell try to hit 325 or more.. Nobody gonna stop you haha!...

lolol omfg u shoulda bought a ferrari. lolz0rz!!!11on1!1

no.. its actually a pretty easily obtainable HP figure.. Its just all about how much you are willing to spend. Upgrade the internals of the engine and crank up the boost.. add fuel.. etc. I was talking to my local tuning shop (The Tuning Factory in Farmington Hills, MI), and they already have a customer with a lancer making around 250hp pretty easily on RRM's stage 2 kit. I guess they said the Stage 2 cam added 30whp alone when they dyno'd it with the turbo kit.. so look into that. But as long as you have the money, good luck to you.

woa, repost x's 3..haha

thanks guys for the support...i'm going down to Vivid Racing on monday to talk to the guys and see what can be done. I don't mind the car being down as I have another ride to use..i really do enjoy my lancer..this car is the first car i ever bought on my own, no one helped me with this car period...i've done most of the work myself, she's done me no wrong, now it's time for her to get all dressed up and made over... 325HP, hmmm, i think that will be the goal...if 300 has been broken, then i needa step up the game and make it a lil more..

Contact RRM and they should be able to help you obtain that number.
