? Well if you're turbo you can't get an NA cam, or high compression pistons...and thats all I can think of. If you're NA you obviously can't get a turbo, intercooler, turbo cam, or anything turbo related.

Okay cool. Thanks man, because people keep matching intake and stuff with na so yeah haha.

Wait, when i hear of getting a turbo, people usually say to beef up the pistons.. whats with that?

to run higher PSI, you need stronger pistons and usually other internals(rods, springs). But if you just want to stay with a low psi, then dont worry about pistons yet.

So, putting two and two together now, stronger pistons can generate more hp in general, AND allow the car to run at greater psi? thats kinda what i interpreted. thanks again.

Sorta, but not really. Stronger pistons allow you to run higher boost, but usually not on their own, you also need better rods and I believe an upgraded ECU and fuel system. In terms of NA, it's higher compression that matters, simply buying stronger pistons won't do a thing but cost you an arm and a leg.

You can make 200+ h.p. without pistons and rods.
