Well, ok I can relinquish my spot so everybody gets bumped up a spot. I know I wasn't the second member, but people resigned as mods and I got bumped up. You will then be 007 hahahahaha.

The bracket is poorly designed. It seems that this most recent time they just didn't tighten the bolts enough. Of course, that was AFTER I said I didn't believe them that some other $1600 part was the "new" problem that I would have to pay for. I'm starting to think Mitsubishi won't be in the running for my next car.

They had to replace my steering column once under warranty, then again later when it came loose again. I looked at it to see if I can fix it myself, but it's just a poorly designed part. Gravity works against it when it could have been designed to be helped by gravity.

Apparently, it's supposed to be a break away steering column, so that you don't break your face on it in an accident. Problem is (1) it's not supposed to break away when you're not in an accident, and (2) All cars have had airbags (neglecting the need for breakaway columns) since the early 90s, before this car even hit the market.
