Ok I'm looking for opinions.. I need one more guage for my guage pod. I'm auto so I don't know if I should get Auto Tranny Fluid Temp, or Oil TEmp or Oil Pressure... I drive 05lanceres btw
you dont really need a tranny temp gauge. Just get a tranny cooler and call it a day. Mine hasn't overheated since i put one on. If anything go with oil pressure. I'm about to get one once i redo my valve seals this week. Lancers have horrible piston rings. This is my second set. but anyways i would go with oil pressure.
Well i did my rings myself... the first time i can't remember where i bought them, but then 20,000 miles later i had my cylinders bored .020 over and my head ported and polished. I put some wiseco pistons in and their rings were 80 bucks extra with the pistons. And i'm getting excessive blow-by. The piston rings wre under warranty so once they come in...i'm going to put them on, and the valves seals are dirt cheap. I just have to buy a new head gasket too since i'm taking the head off. My car has 115,000 miles on it, and i drive it hard... REAL HARD. lol
