I got this link from a source of mine and this guy and his company specialize in Boring out Throttle Bodies and Manifolds. They do work for some custom shop that actually sells the TB's. Found out about them in NJ on Saturday during a show, I don't remember their name right now.

They specialize in Hondas and Acuras, but they can practically bore out our TB's for a great price and turn around time is 3 business days. they do Group BUYS as well.

That is in incredible deal! I think I will contact them and get my throttle body ported. Anyone up for a group buy? Only $87 paypalled if we can get 4 or more throttle bodies.

 

That's what I was thinking about.... The only problem is they all have to come/go from the same destination address. And then you know some don't want to pay extra shipping charges to get it from one place to another. Unless each is from the same state or atleast driving distance is the same..

I'm willing to setup up a NY/NJ chain....

your right. its all about peak hp numbers. i will take peak hp over throttle response and overall use of a powerband any day. what an enlightening post.

 

if any of you plan on using this guy; get in touch with him first and send him a picture of a lancer's TB if he claims to have never done one before. honda and acura do NOT have a tapered TB; the lancer does....it's more precise to bore and he very well may charge higher and/or refuse the job. i had a local machine shop refuse to bore mine due to the taper before the butterfly.
