yea, but take your time. also taping over the finished side will help it from splintering

Make sure you are doing the drilling somewhere you can contain the fibers and not get any on yourself. CF is 1000 times itchier that fiberglass.

I drilled through my cf trunk just a couple days ago... Use painters tape on each side as said above- to prevent splintering. Use a nice sharp bit and go slowly. its pretty much just like drilling through straight fiberglass.

Do not push hard at all.. use a dremmel drill bit if possible so it laces thru it like butter. =) A big clunky drill can crack it easy if you aren't careful, or it splinters.

use the tape trick on both sides not just finished side, and don't just use a drill bit. make a pilot hole much smaller than your than your final hole, then use a step drill aka uni-bit to carry your hole size up. have some two part epoxy or resin on hand to seal what gets drilled through. good luck enjoy your new parts

ch47god- thanks for adding the pilot hole first. I did forget to mention that. haha.

I never thought of epoxy or resin the holes that you drill. is that something that really needs to be done?
