^Now if I only knew about that! UV protection too! Well, the spoiler was sold anyways to a good guy in GA and he had it completely repainted to match his Evo anyways.
The thing you wanna keep in mind is to as soon as you see the clear start to fade/crack is to do this DIY fix immediately...before the sun "eats" through the CF resin. That stuff WILL show up even through your new clear coat!

yeah, i've painted a ton of crap for my car so i know all the good stuff at the paint shop, haha.
i did single stage spray urethane on my VII wing and it came out decent considering i had the pressure on my compressor and regulator all wrong!

Wish I had someone in town that could paint my "new" Kaminari FG spoiler! Any tips on where or how to access factory-matching paint? I was going to get some thorough paintscratch.com, but they're pricey.

^^^Not long, just like 30 seconds or less. The write-up is pretty much in the thread, just read it all.
^^Ah, because half of it is already off due to the sun baking it.
^Sure is! That's my 14lb fatty...Smudge.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but what grit did you use to sand off the clear coat when you applied the clear coat remover?
Or did you just spray and wipe down with a cloth?
