I believe so as the resin is a plastic/ synthetic. Here is the quote from the 1st post

NOTE section it reads : Do not apply on plastic or any other synthetic surfaces.

Good news!!! This stuff works, and works great!!! Doesn't harm the resin/CF at all. Only thing to mention is that you MUST do this as soon as you start to see any deterioration at all in the top coat. The sun actually melted through most of the top/clear coat and even some resin on my spoiler. I could actually feel the CF weave...D@MN! Getting the 6th or 7th coats on tonight after more wet sanding. I'll post pics once I get home...

Ok so it worked. Now what. You need to spray the carbon fiber surface to protect it from the elements.

First, I started with just a 50/50 look at what it used to look like verus what I just removed. Quite the difference already. But then did the entire thing and noticed how it was a little too late to save some of the resin/CF. Some of it had faded pretty badly. But after 6 clear coats, It's back to it's early day glory!!!

Horray for me and my hard work...It really paid off !

Oh, BTW...use gloves and don't get it on your arms. You'll feel the burn for reals!

hit it with some 2000 grit on a block hand sander. Few rubs with some good wax to bring back the shine. Voila!

Thanks, I was hoping this would give other owners the chance to fix their similiar problems for under $15. Thought about doing a DIY How-To, but if you can read directions you can do this...
