sorry but thats really gunna be a bad choice.....stage 2 is really only for really really large power output.....stage one will be more then enough...your going to kill your low and mid range torque...just letting you kno.

Stage 2 grind is for improved mid range / top end at the expense of slight loss of torque at low rpm. Valve Springs required, Vernier Cam gear optional.
Stage 3 grind is for improved upper mid range / top end at the expense of loss of torque at low rpm levels. Valve Springs & Vernier Cam gear required

I would think a stage 2 would work very well as long as you have every possible bolton. With intake, catback, header, throttle body youre basically doing every possible mod before raising compression. If you spend the money on head work to match the gains should be even more impressive.

Don't forget the SAFC to tune it all together. The stage one cam RPW is saying will not need the SAFC. Add that into your calculations as that is another $300 for it.

In my thread regarding the Stage 2 N/A setup I listed the mods that I would have/need. In all youre prob going to spend almost 4k for tuning, parts etc, but if tuned correctly you have a very powerful, reliable and very different car.

RMR Intake
RPW Header
RRM Bored Throttle Body
Greddy Evo Exhaust
RPW Fuel Pressure Regulator
Greddy E-Manage
RPW Stage 2 Port & Polish
RPW Stage 2 Camshaft
RPW Cam Gear
RPW Valve Springs

Does anyone know what the HP gains are supposed to be with a Stage 1 cam gear and camshaft. I called a shop here today that said they can install it for about 300, but i wanna make sure it would be worth all the money.

I think the stage two is gonna really rob your low end. I can feel a tiny bit of low end loss with my stage 1.5 I'd estimate HP increase at 20-25hp in mid/top end. There's a lot of AFC work left to do though. $300 is a good price for the install...you have to remove your intake to slide the cam out...it's not a pop out the top kind.

20 HP sounds good for the price, i wonder if the stage 1 without the AFC would be close to that?

I think I'm going with a dual TB set-up next....that should boost me up a bit further....does that need a haltech, or will the AFC be enough?
