need to know the specs on the enigine if anyone knows it by heart, because my engine blew and it was covered under warranty and there putting a used 04 lancer es engine with like 10,000 miles in it and my car is an 02, just want to know the dif.. thx

so let me no if i have info you need how did it happen by chance and is it all free warnty work

 

What specs do you need?

Also, how can they put an 04 motor in your 02? They fuel systems are different (04+ are returnless). I'd think that would pose a problem.

 

I just got my car back today and everything runs fine, it seems the same to me but a little more powerful.

 

It's the same engine, only difference is the fuel system.

 

maybe they saved the fuel system off the first motor.
