Cat converter questions
no, they are all made the same, just different emissions laws in different states. mine had it too, it's part of the stock piping. my DC sport cat back has the same thing, just thicker piping.

-1 in header or 'manifold' right where the engine first puts out the exhast.
-1 in exhaust section under the car. Right below where your shifter or console would be.
-I got better gas milage when I removed both of mine, around 8mpg better actually.
-More top end power, less low end torque if you replace the stock manifold with the header. Since then I've put a turbo on and got rid of the weak power issues.

Emissions and testing if you state has it. I took both mine off. You don't need them and they hinder performance and gas milage. You know, you can take them off, bolts just hold them on.
