Should we have 1 Lancer Forums National Meet or should we have two meets, one on each coast, instead?

 

that there should be like 10....like alot and like 1 probably once a year....

I think he means 10 regional ones and one big national one... My thoughts are just like in the other post, Twin Lancer Meets on either coast.

 

It should really be 3 meets if your not going to do just one. It would be closer for a guy in Fl to go to Texas than to NY.

I say the location is wherever the person is who fronts the money for the entertainment. Believe me I am not going to drive 12+ hours just to sit in a parking lot.

 

I'd like to do one big meet....just 'cause I'd like to meet everyone from both coasts.

As much as I'd like to meet everyone, it really seems like it's going to be too much to get everyone together in one central location. And I guess that means central/midwest people get to choose which coast, eh? Not a bad deal if you ask me no matter how you slice it. I'm definitely not opposed to just one meeting, but it seems like it's going to be too difficult to organize to get off the ground at this point. Maybe if each coast's meeting turns out to be successful?

I agree with you that there should be a couple of meets, one on each coast. And I also agree with yellow_lancer that there should be a meet every few years to see each others cars and continue our fun...

 

now the east coast west coast thingy.......thats just trouble waiting to happen..........hehehehe........just joking.....it actually sounds like a good idea

 

But honestly I mostly feel that way because of issues of pragmatism.

I think it's already becoming apparent how difficult these are going to be to plan, and that a single, national meeting would be at least twice the hassle. ...unfortunately.

 

I think the only fair thing to do would be to have it in Houston, Texas. I'd even be willing to make the drive

Whatever we decide, I think as many of us as possible should try to attend the WRC race in Palmdale in the beginning of May. That would be cool. And that's entertainment. In fact, maybe the meet should be held at a race. That would provide plenty of entertainment.
