The Tensioner On My Alternator Broke

I'll post up pictures later but the thread and nut that you use to tighten the alternator broke. The nut... or top part of the bolt I should say snapped off and I'm not sure if it's capable of being replaced. Anyone have any ideas? I need to check and see if my car can still run without the battery connected... don't want that thing going dead.

I'll post pictures later tonight.

CN: Top part of bolt broke on alternator tensioner.

You should be able to find that nut in any hardware store.

Probably can't just buy the bolt-head, dude. When you break a part of it, you usually replace the whole piece. Still, pretty cheap.
