I know, I was talking to the guy with the spec v and we were talking how the aftermarket for lancers sucked. Just curious, whats up with the "worked" do you not believe Ive worked on those cars? I didnt think it was that unusual to work on cars.

I actually didnt meen anything by it. The thread got off to a rocky start I guess so you were saying you worked on all these cars to make a point that you know what your doing I assume...
The aftermarket doesnt give you huge options but I think it is a fun car. Its fun becaue who has a hooked up lancer? haha. Im one of very very... couple... in maine. lol.
FI is the only way to go to get power out of this engine. Im buying all supporting mods to a turbo so when I have the cash for one im set. To start off id go with ecu. Every mod after that you get you can get its full potential plus have the ablity to tune.

FOr $400 you need to decide if you want, engine performance or suspension etc. IF you have nothing yet, intake and header are good place to start.... around $400-500. AS for twin throttle body, 35 h.p. is possible but will never do it without a ton of mods including cam, higher compression and a way to manage the huge amount of ari etc..... It is not a first mod or second or third. .... It is a racing only kind of mod and should not be on your list. Plus still have not seen a dyno it. Maybe I will buy one and test it out on a built motor.

Its cool, I was trying to make a point cause I know noobs kinda get the "short end of the stick" on here (and everywhere else) so I was just trying to show that Im not new to the tuner scene, Im just new to this car. Youre right, lancers are a fun car. I had to stick with the Rally cars (though not much is rally worthy), my first car was an AE92. But thanks for the help, hope this kinda clears things up. BTW your car looks bad ***, that cf hood is sexy as hell.
