didn't read the whole thread but are you talking trying that n/a? That would be pretty funny.

I'm all for sleepers and underdogs but unless you got alot of cash even going forced induced you'd be hard pressed to reach that number without building a almost new car.

There will definitely be some building and a lot of tunage to reach that number realistically I will at least hit 250 though with a definite rebuild. I'm capping the car at breaking even with the WRX price loaded though so I can't spend more than 10K US total. 300 is totally possible though my buddy's dad is a does drag engines and is getting 290 out his mirage so I'm sure a lancer can beat that. Too bad he revs like 9K lil bastard in his lighter more powerful than mine vehicle.

Engine wise its doable for 10K not easily but doable. Lemme see here Forged Pistons Rods and Crank; Machined Cam Turbo-spec Valve Springs up the fuel pump and lines S-AFC and AVC-R and oh yes the Turbo running 17PSI of boost with new Ignition system to get raise that rev limit to 7500.

I think I can get the bottom end parts from RPW. So no engineering there might be on the valve springs and turbo manifold but I'll see. Just to point out I'm probably going to be doing all the work myself so thats why my numbers are so low. I'm only paying for parts hopefully. but 17PSI is totally possible I forgot the sleeves though Probably need them in this OBD block but since its cast I think it'll handle the pressure well. Guess once its done I'll know the numbers for sure.
