Well, I recieved and installed them yesterday. Took about 1 hour. The hardest part was trying to find some place to put the ballasts. The HID's look great and the kit is actually german made, not chinese ot taiwan for whatever difference that makes. They are not Low and high beam, JUST low beam. They are however, very clear and bright like you would expect them to be. The only part that I dint really like about them was that they dont have a direct "plug in and done" type of connector to get the power from your origianl stock light socket. They have a positive pin, and a negative pin that you push into the factory pos/neg sockets and then you have to electrical tape it up to seal it off. Its not difficult by any means, but i would have prefered a male/female socket connector instead.
That being said, they look great, and really illuminate the road quite well. I got the 10000K series that have a blue tint to them. When I get home tonight Ill post some pics for you guys. All in all though, for $150, they are well worth it.

not gonna read 4 pages, but make sure you DON'T touch them with you bare hands. the oils from you hands will heat up and cause it to burn out faster. use rubber gloves.

Welcome to the world of HID's where you dont have to worry about buying bulbs every time one of your "high performance bulbs" fries your stock socket..

those are really bright.. They are gonna throw massive glare.... drivers comin the other way will hate you. You can tell its in low beam.. That light wouldnt be good enouph for me at night.

Do you have blacked out headlights? I wonder if having blacked out headlights would reduce the glare because the light isnt bouncing off all that chrome... hmmm

If your vision is bad, they might not be good enough for you at night, but thats not the HID's fault. They are plenty bright, and are aimed correctly, so blinding other drivers shouldnt be a problem. I havent gotten any "flashers" yet, so thats a good sign. I was also wondering the same thing about the blacked out headlights question you raised. I would think it might dampen it a bit.

Also remember, I took those pics in the black of night, with no flash, so its gonna seem a little brighter in the pic than it actually is.

That looks EXACTLY like the kit I got, except mine was about 35 bills cheaper. Probably same thing but resaled to different companies. Plus I got to choose from more color temps than just 6K and 8K.
Mine also came with metal mounting brackets to hold the ballasts.

I shoulda posted a lil bit better so it made sense. I have perfect vision.. I couldnt drive around on my roads with the lights aimed that low is what I was getting at. They light output is great at low beam. I need the light sent up farther ahead so I can see upcoming turns and any obstructions in the road. (country twisty roads with animinimals) haha

^Agree with mitsuozboi, the light clarity is outstanding, but the distance just isn't enough for country driving. I wonder if a dual beam kit would be better for us country boys.
