What would his motive be? If we could only hear from a NSC representive.

Not that it matters all that much to me. My suggestion to any of you looking to make a heat shield would be to try to dIY and see if you can produce a better product. Where does one get aluminium from anyway?

no kidding... I still think that something got mailed without being finished. If that is what happened, they should make things right. NSC obviously knows about this thread, or at least people close to them, so why not save face and correct the problem??????

i used galvanized aluminum from home depot for my intake heat shield. seemed to do the trick.

fairly easy to bend and cut.

i don't see black primer in your pics. you couldn't have sanded it off cuz it looks like there's still dents and scratches that couldn't have been there had you sanded it.

trust me, thing doesn't really work. Get your money back! 3 months is too long anyways to be waiting for anything. Maybe if it were a JDM piece, I understand.

but it's not!

OH as for the piece of metal on the Header? WTF? It's just a sheet. I don't see how that's gonna reduce any type of temperatures underneath the hood. It'll get just as hot as the header.

Get some Heat-Wrap or something, will work alot better than a sheet a metal! Oh, why don't you just re-use your stock one?!

NSC is part time, they are just starting out.. it takes time to work out the jinks.. they are nice guys though, i wouldnt bash them so hard, just contact them i am sure they will handle things well if you tell them you have an issue..

A2 will surely take off because everyone is calling them too!!!

In the pic, Look at the bent corners, u can see the black "primer". Only one side was painted (the side not shown in picture)

Now, its been sanded, some of the dents fixed & repainted then installed. It hides the header and cleans up the engine bay abit. Fitment was as shoty as the product itself. I had to bend the upper right corner in and redrill one of the holes because it was off about a half inch.

**It does NOT reduce temp. in the engine bay**

Evocore - "sry to say this but that look like nothing like NSC made but a pos. I bet you made that yrself so you can bash on NSC.."

I work 50-hour weeks at a chemical company. I don’t have that much free time bro. Get real!!

I dont think anyone called them bad guys. They are probably cool guys but to send out a bad product is a different story..
