I see your point, that came out a bit wrong though. I meant that they havent been appreciative of RRM lately. Meaning in other vendor threads I see people say, "I wonder why RRM didnt think of this / make this" or "Im glad so and so is picking up where RRM left off". You know what I mean?

I support RRM, and anyone else who makes respectable parts for our cars.

Fixed.

Great company, great products, great customer service. If it wasn't for them, no other company would have ever looked at competing in this marketplace because it would probably be a dead market. With any niche market, if one company starts doing well other companies will attempt to follow. They were the first and they've done the best. Props to you guys for that.

I have RRM products on my car and I am very happy with them. You get what you pay for and that's the end of it. Also don't hate on a new company that is just starting out.

A2 it's a small company that is owned by a guy that has done more to his personal car and others than many of us. So give due credit where due credit is due. The guy knows his stuff and is very active on the Mirage forums. He has also given great customer support. He is offering his services and products as a much discounted price... I hate how all of these threads though become about the other guy.

It's obvious to me that your thread wasn't so much about RRM as it was to say how much better they are to everyone else. You win that one. Just don't hate on the other guys out there trying to make and produce products. I very much hope that A2 becomes the number one competitor to RRM, not becuase I hate RRM but because I want choice. And so should everyone.

To me, that IS appreciation.

"I wonder why RRM didn't think of this" means that they'd rather have it from RRM and wish Rob was selling it so they could buy from him.

"... picking up where RRM left off." means that they consider RRM the name in Lancer building. We all can admit that RRM does pass on some ideas, which then allows the other companies to "pick up." For example, Rob has always said that he doesn't see a need for an aftermarket downpipe. So when Buschur made one, that was "picking up where RRM left off."

To me, you're seeing people acknowledge RRM as the industry standard.
Really, it's all about how you look at it.

Easy there... reread my post... i mentioned not once, not twice, but three times that it is NOT a dig against A2. I was simply pointing out that A2 was able to charge less because of less overhead cost... that in no way implies that RRM has the superior product, it is just justifying why RRM charges a bit more than it's competitors. And the fact that I actually acknowledged A2 as RRM's competitor should show to prove that I am not putting the gentleman behind the name down. I support anyone and everyone that provides quality aftermarket products for the Lancer and is willing to back their products up with their support.

The beauty of competition is that all the consumers benefit from lower prices and greater choices.

I have a feeling I should just buy an A2 kit, dyno it, and review it. So people would stop this guesswork on who's who and what's what.

What constituted that response? I never once said A2's kits are worse than RRM's...

he wasn't directing it at you. In general, the community is making that assumption.

He can do whatever he wants to do, but as you know around here there's alot of talk and no walk.

It would be nice if someone bought an A2 kit for the lancer so that they could compare the dynos to RRM's kit. Does anyone know if Phillip has sold a turbokit to a lancer owner yet?

yeah this site is all talk mostly. Phillip said he did sell and install one on the lancer but no one knows who it was and they aren't on here. He needs to find someone in florida to install it on, dyno it, then uninstall it.
