I was just sitting here reading forums etc...and I was thinking...
Who has 5-speed Lancers, and who has automatic Lancers?? Just a curious question! ...hehe

manual, and never plan to get an auto in my life. my wife (eventually) can have the auto car but me i'll stay with my standard transmission.

i've sat in stopped traffic for 3 hours, moving 2 inches every 30 seconds. and i still would never give up my manual (i'll just drive my girlfriend's car down to dover this year )

stick baby! automatic blows. only time i miss it is when i'm REALLY tired driving home (too tired to be driving in the first place), and that's so rare, its not worth it. besides...

real men drive stick. that's just the way it is.

 

Auto and hating it...

Auto blows cuz u cant get a short-shifer, or a CAI and it's no fun to drive.

 

auto cant wait till i do a swap to 5 speed or say f it and buy a new lancer with a stick!

so all you automatic people - what mods - if any - have you done to your car?? just curious - -

 

real men drive sticks?? mighty strong words... real men can get a piece in a car thats an auto tranny....

as for mods... ive got a SRI, and an axle back. most of the mods are all the same for autos as they are for 5 speeds, the only exception is clutches and a CAI mainly.
