Codes read today

Recently I started throwing CEL again. The codes are "below threshhold, warm-up cat"

That doesn't suprise me much, as I don't have a warmup cat. Just wanted to double check with yall. Car seems to run fine, I assume my cel eliminator just isn't working properly. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think thats the cel you get from running a header. Did you put the CEL eliminator on the first O2 sensor or the second?

Did you install the headers, get the CEL and then install the CEL eliminator? If you installed it AFTER the code was thrown then you need to reset your ECU so the light turns off. If you installed it BEFORE the CEL code was thrown then you either did not install the CEL eliminator properly or your car is smart.

CORRECT. that is the CEL you get when running an aftermarket header. make sure you've got the CEL Elim. in the right cat.....they don't always work though so you just may be out of luck

I got that code when I had my universal muffler and had my stock resonator removed. I thought it was a recall for the cat in the header?

actually the CEL eliminator was installed after headers, on the 2nd o2 sensor. this worked great for quite awhile. For some reason, after installing piggyback the code came. As I said, I'm not real concerned. The light hasn't come back on yet since resetting ecu when I changed me plugs (btw, I'm still running rich). Changing the plugs, so far, has stopped that noise I was hearing on cold (MN) startups. Car seems to run a little better with the new plugs and overall runs great (thanks rrm) 0 I'm not too worried if that cel comes back, my other thought is that maybe the CEL/o2 sensor have rattled loose a little? That I need to check on. otherwise no biggie.

Maybe you're overdoing it, try with just one cel eliminator and make sure to reset the ecu.
