hello, i just bought a 2002 lancer rally edition like... monday or tuesday and lately I've been looking for different parts and such for it but everything i find says its for the "evo" so whats the difference between my car and the evo?

naw you silver06evo9mr are straight, just ever other person that has posted.. I dunno guess its weird cause all the other forums i belong to they accept a new owner and help them out and here its like we hate u cause u cant afford this or didnt know the difference when u bought it or whatever. its just unreal that people have enough free time and hate that they attack me like so.

The evo is a completley different car. Except for some things like the trunk, front door, and most interior pieces that will also work on the lancer. Evos have a different motor, they are 4 wheel drive, turbo charged, and the list goes on.

People only hate when we get dumb questions like this. This is the biggest NO NO question even for a noobie. The difference is the world. When im out on the town i hate getting the comments "hey is that an STI" or "nice subaru" then u get those poeple that say hey nice lancer. it offends poeple that we pay 35k for a car and get called a basic lancer or whatever when its a completely different car.

Like i said the difference is so great you have no idea. Do this so you will understand. GO test drive an evo look at one and then come back and share what you found are the difference. you will realize why we hate on this question. Dont be discouraged people here really arnt that mean unless you ask this question.
