Sheeeiiiiit! western P.A. is choke full of ricers. the lancer is still a relatively rare bird though. i've done nothing looks wise to mine. i'm all about go to match up my crazy loud exhaust. i even rock 15 inch rpf1's. [9lbs a piece.]

there is one other one. red with a gody body kit and a huge wing spoiler. though i noticed the other day a intercooler pokin out the bumper. hopefully i run into him again to chat, maybe get him to take me for a ride. we are always staring at each other passing by in traffic. i've wondered if hes on here.

but ya my scene out here locally is pretty sad.:[

There are about 5 lancers in springfield MO, mine included, and all but one look and sound stock. The other is built fairly tastefully I think, with a mild body kit and an evo-style hood.

Also i just want to make clear, some cars look really good with a different colored body kit, i wont lie. There are a good bit of them, but generally the Civic guys get two colors that dont really work together or get two totally different paint types.

In Philly I see more EVOs then basic Lancers, and most of them are pretty nice looking. However I do hate the big wings, I think its just stupid, go small and it looks nice and still does the job.

At home, in OH, I don't think I have seen one other Lancer but my own, so I am not sure what its like out there.

Either way, the Lancer is becoming more available, however, I dont think it will turn into a Civic anytime soon. Those ricer pretty much want an EVO but will bought the base model and put money into ricing it out instead of forking out the money to but the EVO. I think thats lame. If I had more cash I would have bought an EVO, but instead Im just going to leave my Lancer mostly stock and only do a few mods here and there when I get the cash.

Werd up... NY is infested w/ them. It's enough we have a Rat-problem.

Im about an hour north of Philly and for every one Lancer i see about 2-3 Evo/STI's. Lancers are not as common for some reason. Its really weird. Come to think of it i dont see a whole lot of civics either. Mostly SRT-4, 240sx, DSM, Accords, and Saturns that are riced. I live in an odd area.

I can top all of those, I saw a blue Lancer with the chrome L A N C E R letters, from the middle of the trunk, stuck right under each side view mirror! I think it also had hubcaps and a stupid aluminum combat wing, but the letters just looked rediculous. They where huge! They didn't even all fit on the door! I think the first couple letters where on the fender. Don't feel bad, there will always be idiots that ruin nice cars. I still like my Lancer. I remember coming out of a restaurant a couple of years ago, when I first got it and there where three guys standing around it talking about it. That's never happened with any other car I've owned. She still gets the looks today. Overall, it's still nowhere near as overproduced as the Civic.
