Noob Stick, or How i learned to stop worrying and love RRM

Someone please beat me with the noob stick. I am a f-ing idiot.

Back story:
I replaced my exhaust manifold with a header last April and when i reset the ecu i got a CEL. I ASSUMED it was from the header so i went and bought a CEL Elim from RRM. Installed it and nothing. So i asked RRM and they said that it might take 2. So i bought a second CEL Elim and installed it. Nothing. So i went out and bought a Mustang CEL Elim and intalled it. Nothing. Went to my regular garage to get the code read. Their scan tool went back to Snap-On for an update. Went back a month later and now the scan tool is busted. I cried a little.

A week ago my friend (who is a Diesel Mechanic) bought a new scan tool and wanted to try it out. Plugged it into my Lancer and read the code that has been there since April. Bank 1 Rich, o2 Sensor inproper temp, o2 sensor failure. Hmmmmmm.... the FIRST o2 sensor. DAMMIT im an idiot.

Never ***-ume anything.

Replaced first o2 sensor today. No CEL. Im so happy i could hug someone. Better yet i got the new o2 sensor for free. Junkyard scrounging.

now i could just get my headlights to stop collecting water.........

haha. nice story...... caulk the hellz outa the headlights. What I did with my old tails was put them in oven and try to re-seal them as much as possible, then nailed it with caulk.. didnt fog after that. I did same thing with my diy blacked out headlights. no fogging or water.

Its the rubber grommets on the back of the Cedias. It doesnt seal properly. I think the grommets on the back of the Outlander headlights fit the Cedias properly. Think i might pick up a set of these.
