i was looking on line trying to figure out what was the faster car, the us lancer (es/oz non ralliart) or the regular WRX impreza and had no luck. so if any one has the answer i would like to know.

but i did find this site that was awesome giving the side by side reviews of the EVO IX MR and the new imperza WRX STI. it starts off talking about the cars and the second page gives the specs of each of the cars side by side it's pretty cool.

i jus thought u all might think it was interesting too and was wondering if ne one had the answer to my question

i looked and everything i found was on the EVOs and STIs

 

stock wrx comes with 225hp. ( underatted hp numbers to be exact, its stock dyno at 205whp with AWD train lose its around 250 hp ) the stock wrx's run about 13.7-14.1 1/4 miles times.

lancer es/oz run about 16.8-18.0 in the 1/4 mile. Have about 98whp. 120 crank hp.

ill put it like this. i bought a $750 turbo back exhaust, $600 engine management ( cobb AC ) and a $ 150 protune. if you think crank figures my hp went from 225, 230 tq, to about 305hp and 360 tq.

but evo is hands down faster than the sti

thats all i was asking. i dont know that much about subarus. their nice cars but i dont know ne thing about them, i know about my car and other cars ive delt with, (hondas, nissans, and mazads) but ive never messed with subarus. but after the laughing thinks for the info. i appreciate it.

Well he wasn't asking about the STI, but he did say ES/OZ vs WRX impreza.
But how can anyone NOT know the answer. Simple spec search would have easily stopped this from becoming a dumb question/thread.
