We are looking for ideas for Our 2008 Lancer Carbon Hood. Give imput here!

Well its kinda hard to say but I would vent it evenly maybe like a sheild split in two but the frickn turbo is going to be by the back fire wall i would have to say furthere back then the last one would increase performance but would it look good????????

 

If I had an 08 or if I were to buy another hood for my 03 I would want a hood with a reverse scoop that is set in to pull hot air out. like this hood. except minus the Lift in the middle. Just a "U" shaped vent set in to bring heat out.

 

personally, i'd like to see just an oem hood in cf....

 

I'd say heat extractors like the 03/04 cobra. This will also be similar to the new Evo.

 

lol the lancer owner wants something off their lancers, the mustang owner wants something from the cobra, i say make something new for a whole new car

i would buy a cf version of the stock hood, better looks, less weight, no worries about being called a ricer

 

I dunno... The hood im mentioning is used in many applications. The hood I picture is very similiar but not exactly what im talking about. a hood that pulls heat out of the engine like this is useful to any application.. and almost looks oem since you dont see any mesh anywhere..

 

I want to vent out but maybe in too like an EVO 10.

if not then something that can add to the missing piece, like a lip, on the bottom of the(gts) front bumper

 

yes i been hoping sumone will make a CF hood for the new lancer that looks like the evo 10 one! plz do that!

 

I am think like EVO10 but with more and nicer vents!

no vents!!! just go for a smooth look, it makes it clean looking instead of having 25 vents in a hood that looks like it was at a butcher shop

Thats an idea. Maybe OEM with the middle clear. A small window. I've seen them, but very few.

I would say make 2 different ones. Seems to be half the people like the Evo hood, and half like OEM. I bet OEM would me much "cleaner", but the Evo look will depend oh how you guys make the vents.

 

+1. i'd be in for the evo hood if the vents are right AND FUNCTIONAL
