Not a good day for my lancer

well today was not the best day of the year. lets me start off by saying that I put my car into a curb and did a lot of damage for just hitting a curb. This is the first time I have ever been in any sort of accident, so I was pissed that I had just did damage to my lancer. My rim is wasted, lower shock mount is bent. lower contol arm is bent, I could use a new fender, along with a few other things. well this is only the start of the day . I had my friend take me home to get some AAA things, and since my car wont move I leave it on the side of the road. I get back within like 40 min and when I get back I see a person in my car . I bolt out of my friends car and the kid sees me so he runs out of my car with a knife in his hand ( I dont feel like getting stabed so I back off). He runs down the street and my friend follows him. the kid gets into a get away car ( a old red sentra ) but he cant out run a hemi. after about 5 miles the kid that was in my car jumps out of the get away car ) my friend follows the car while a random guys tackles the kid who jumped out. I called the cops and within 20 min both kids were in the back seats of the police cars on there way to juvy. We go back to look at my car and I see that my drivers window was shattered and they broke my brand new in dash t.v dvd player, along with a few other minor things.

Im not the type of person to beat on my cars. I always baby it and treat it just like family.
Thank you for reading I just needed to vent.

heres some pics:

I hate people. When I had my 05 evo, I had the recall on the turbo coolant hose problem. blew a lil friggin line and left me starnded. I called for a haul, and in the mean time my Moms rolls by, I tell her no, I'm not leaving my car. she thought I was nuts, but it was modded and it also had like 3 grand in wheels and tires on it.
she thought I was nuts, but......

I move over to the passenger seat and just chilled for the haul. about 40 minutes later some dud e in a van pulls passed and starts backing up. he stops and clearly doesnt see me, pops the back door and pulls a tire Iron. Now I start getting up in my chair, he sees me and sprints back to the van. took th eplate number down and call the cops, it was a stolen plate for anescort or somthing. I will never leave my car

I just recently did the same thing to my Lancer (curbed it). I have it parked outside my house for now and am driving the girlfriend's Accord. How much is that going to cost you to fix? I haven't gotten my damage checked out yet and am worried that it's going to cost a lot.

I estimated about 1600$ from the guy who broke into my car, I will tear apart my car today to see how much the damage is from the wreck. Im sure its going to cost an arm and a leg to fix though.

hey man, you got lucky..... most break in cases result in you just paying the damages because it is just about the deductible. If they caught these idiots, the court can get some money out of them, right? I hope so anyway.

That's insane man! Sorry to hear it... So, they broke in or did you leave it unlocked? Hope the kids of the parents have to pay for fixing it! Maybe you can convince the parents they stole the car and curbed it! LOL

Looks like you showed up at the right time. It does sound like an action movie complete with Hemi. Sucks to be you though!
