Question Is this French Blue?

Does anyone for sure if this is French Blue or not:

If not, does anyone have a real picture of an Evo VII in French Blue?

Thanks,

Mark

Interesting color...looks almost purple. By a "real" pic, are you saying this one is chopped?

That would be french blue, but every picture I've seen with the Evo in French Blue has been a different tint.

A good representative of the French Blue can be seen in GT3.

That color used to be called Reims Blue on the 6, so I suppose they could've made it easier to understand...

Here's another shot of the French Blue, not a bad color.

Be careful with posting pics from certain websites. The first pic is from Movit and it's forbidden to post it without their ok. As I'm at Movit anyway on Saturday I'll speak to him to see what he thinks of it.

This is the official legal statement from the Movit website

The copyright for any material created by the author is reserved. Any duplication or use of objects such as diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author's agreement.

Mike

PS: This time being typically Swiss

Ah, Scooby, who gives a ****? Now being as pedantic as you were with your kind warning:

"The copyright for any material created by the author is reserved. Any duplication or use of objects such as diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author's agreement."

1. Who is the author?
2. What material is it he created? (that was defined later, so see 3.)
3. What are the objects? Is object supposed to be the same as material? If yes, then it isn't as that's not defined. What is defined as objects are diagrams, sounds and texts, but NOT photographs or pictures.

So going by that text the case of copyright infringement is very weak, I'd even go as far as impossible. Looks like they copied and pasted somebodies badly written legal text. I'd suggest using a good copyright solicitor if they take their stuff seriously.

Now should they take their stuff seriously? I'd say that would be quite stupid, cause pics like this are good advertisement for their stuff. Anything that is published on a public website won't be top secret anyway, or shouldn't, because then it's public anyway.

This is some quick thoughts, without even going into the whole thing that he hasn't actually taken the photo in his or this websites possession (i.e. copied it onto another server) but merely posted a link which is http://www.movit.de/images/evo701.jpg and this nice software on this board has the functionality to display (I'd even say the picture is a part of the Mov'it website, not part of this website, talking legal stuff again) it without us having to click on it and then see it.

Scooby, Scooby, Scooby.... you should no better being in the banking business where every word on a contract counts....

Michael

don't be so harsh. I know you couldn't afford the Movit kit but this is no reason to freak out.

As I said wait till I spoke to Guido.

BTW the picture has been made by Guido, you should know who's car it was.

As not being able to do my job properly. Working at the world's biggest asset manager in my position speaks for itself, just ask Richard

Cheers

Mike
