And sometimes I think about driving it into a tree. This thing has broken down more times than I have fingers. I hate my car.

Sucks for you. Many people have had theres for over 100k miles and are fine. I am only at 60k but have never ever had a problem with it mechanically or anything. Might not leave this thread open, what is your point here?

 

Maybe a Lemon? Or maybe I tried too hard to make my econobox into something else. I have 115k on mine, but 70k on the engine I've replaced. The new engine has been bullet proof thus far but everything else has just fallen apart after 80k miles.

 

+1...if you hate it soo much, get rid of it....i have had no problems with mine...maybe its the driver

i hated my lancer for the first yr. it took a while to appreciate it.
