Front endlinks - you can get an Energy Suspension endlink kit for $20 at Autozone.
Tie rods - up to you, they do age over time
Alignment - couldn't hurt
Struts - you can get all four KYB GR-2s from RRM for cheaper
Rear brake alignment - new to me...
Brake fluid flush - buy some Ate Super Blue and take it to a shop
Tranny fluid flush - you AT or MT? If MT, DIY. If AT, it's probably a good idea.
F/I flush - new to me...
30k service - up to you; I'd probably skip it.
PCV - probably a good idea.

Those are my thoughts. Take them or leave them.

1. Like the man said, E S instead...and DIY
2. Possible, look into it yourself
3. You know the car handles or pulls, does it need one? Uneven tire wear anywhere?
4. KYB replacements are $99 per for the rears...and DIY
5. Pass, unless you're having breaking uses
6. Pass, see above
7. Assuming they said the 30k miles service because you're at similiar mileage, so no real need for it as of yet... and that's a DIY too! *See my previous posts about a DIY on that.
8. Pass
9. Just a basic tune-up and lube session...DIY
10. Probably a good idea, and it's more of a tune-up part than anything...and DIY

Have fun!

haha. lame. like has been mentioned... most basic maintnence can be done yourself.. unless you have an auto.. in which case a shop has to do the flush. For the price they are getting you for rear struts you could get ksports almost. haha

This is what happends when you take your car in for a recall and or warrenty stuff. they end up searching your whole car for anything that is wrong.

those are the most over blown prices i have EVER seen.

I JUST did a PCV valve myself its $3.29 and install was 7 minutes most of which was finding it.

I recently had my tranny flushed it was 60$

Aligment another 60$

Injector flush, is he f-ing joking, buy some Lucas Injector cleaner it 2.89$

Bottom line, use that list for referance but do NOT let those jokers do any of it, out source it to shops that know what they are doing and dont charge you your first born.

Good god...... transmission flush for 200 bucks ??? I really hope you asked if you get a BJ with that.

You can do a lot of stuff on this list yourself or take it to the local oil change venue. I got a good brake flush for about 80 bucks at the local Goodyear shop back in Feb. before an auto-x and it went really well.

I love how shops "find" stuff wrong with your car and then say how lucky you are that they caught everything in time

If you're going to the dealer to get **** done then you're an idiot.
You can do most of your list yourself.

For the brake bleeding I recommend buying Motive Speed Bleeder

he said he went in to get a part replaced due to a recall.. why does that make him an idiot?

dealerships make alot of money by doing upsells, alot of customers that bring their cars into the dealership dont want to bother doing the work themselves, so the dealership gives you quotes as per their running labor rates. thats all that really is. just see what they told you that you should do, and do it yourself. no need to bad mouth dealerships.
