I didn't see where anyone performed a cylinder leakage test on this car, yet it had had new pistons/rings installed and the power/output of the engine was lower than expected. I realize the thread is real old, however if anyone encounters > than 2% after new rings they need to check it out.

this thread just keeps coming back to life. people keep arguing that amby didnt do this or didnt do that. He already has been giving his reasons why he did or did not do clearly on the subthreads that keep springing off of this one. When will ppl just learn that this is already in the past and he can't do anything to change it. (he doesn't even have the car anymore) and if some one else wants to step it up then by all means do whatever he didn't do, but if nobody else wants to step up then just put this thread to rest. I know this is giving amby headache's on end.

Yeah i mean some people will experience different results in different modding, but this was just to prove a point and the point was proven several times. Not just on Amby's car there were several others before his that didn't make much power NA. This is the past and honestly we will never know what it could of been. Its your choice to make your car to what you want. Choose wisely.

The engine was professionally rebuilt, if it was leaking, he'd have a lot of explaining to do.
