i say.. coil overs and a rear sway bar.. you will feel instant results.. DONT BUY SPRINGS!!!!.. if you want power.. i would say RRM TB/IM.. just look through the RRM site.. trust me.. 1k spent with them is 1k you wont regret..

call them up and tell them i have 1k to spend..

Thats why I never touched my lancer (mod wise). It was all show, and no go.

Thats what I did, made it better for me. Comfy ride, nice stereo, with my in-dash.

$1k is not going to get you far on mods. Except you start building your kit. But we all accomplished that already

Hell yeah. I made that thing! Oh well, want to start another project down the line.

I decided to calmed down on my toys, and bought a Blazer (we just got a kid), so I needed a better DD.

 

I spent about 2k, high comp pistons and all that and like you said, achieved very little results. Go appearance, comfort, or turbo.

 

Get the rear sway bar from RRM and some decent Coilovers =)
