We have HIDs for the Lancer. Good news is highbeams still work too. I wll post some pics later today.

What the...? RRM coming with the surprise mod!

What's the deal with the DRLs? Are the HIDs going to be running 24-7, or do you have a way around that?

^^some HID's dont let DRL's run. like the HID's wont work when its only DRLs because DRL voltage is like 6-8volts. but when you turn on the low beam, the HID's work cause the voltage is 12v. its like a safety feature for the HID's. but thats for the guy thats selling HID's here. not sure of the name brand.

yes this is true. i had some HID's installed and the DRL's didnt work anymore but turning on the low beams made the HID's work. so i guess you can call it a bypass.

we have direct bolt in HIDS for the 02 03, i have them in may car and they work perfect, no cutting, they plug right in and they provide mad light.


we are working on the DRL for the 08 lancer, that is my monday project, but as rob said the high beams still work and these will be plug in HIDS, they are friggin BRIGHT.
