87 octane, because owning a 500+ whp Evo makes you think twice about fuel economy.

 

I bought mine bcuz I had a 95 civic b4, head gasket blew, so I went to a mom and pops dealership and traded it in like that, lmao, and got me a 2002 OZ rally, LOVED the evo, and still do, but can't afford it, recently got a new job that gives me pay that will get me the evo, but I'm gonna save up till I can keep both, and live the dream of having both lancer styles, OZ and Evo, so I can make ppl jealous

 

I got my 06 when I was in need of a transportation car. I was looking for an eclipse but when I saw the 06 ralliart at the dealership and how it stared at me well, what can I say it looks a bit like an evo. So I test drove it and Liked it a lot.

 

Best car in it's class at the time (03) in terms of power, handling and looks. Was a nice car while I had it and at times I miss it.

 

needed a roomier car to fit the ladies in when i went to the clubs....
lol....fuel economy...nevermind....TURBO better fuel than evo
and spanking the american muscle cars....even the cocky subies and euros

I've always like mitsu's and actually wasn't going to get it originally but then ended up walking out with it.. damn those sales ppl.. loved it to the end and then had a second one only cuz it was a bonus with things...

 

i love the lancer evolution, and since i live in canada, they are not allowed here, so i got a lancer ralliart instead...might not be the car i really want but close enough to an evo for me and i love it =]

 

I got mine because I needed a new car back in 2002. I got rid of it on Friday because I wanted something that handled better, was faster, and didn't really required any mods.

I will miss my O.Z. I learned alot because of that car.

 

hahaha..fuel economy is the last thing you would think about, especially a 500+awhp one. That's like buying a ferrari and worrying about the cost of an oil change.

 

I still didnt get a lancer but when i do get my liscence that is the car i will be looking to buy. Ever since i saw the evo i wanted it but i knew i could never afford till i finished college and got a good job. So the lancer was next on my list, then when my sister got her license 3 years ago she got a lancer, too bad its automatic tho. Over the years i started to like the car even more, like the interior and everything is pretty nice compared to those hondas that everyone has. I know the lancer is not the fastest thing ever.. I drive my sister's right now with no license. But its still a fun car, which i cant wait to start modding.

hah dat a pretty long story... anyways if any of you guys is selling or know someone who is selling a 02-03 lancer oz around 6 gs i would be interested. thx

I really wanted a 2000 honda civic si or a s14 240sx but could never find one that i liked (all stock dont want it ragged out) wanted a car for the upcoming year of school so i wouldnt take the bus anymore . I looked and looked for like 3 months didnt find anything and school was gonna start in 3 days so i wanted what ever and i found the lancer, never even thought about getting one at all. So i got it since it was cheap (5k)and i was desperate . The funny thing about was that my friend always wanted a lancer and me a si and im the one with the lancer and he has a si,haha .

 

cruised dealer lots finally wanting to brand NEW car .. even being an auto tech and fabricator I was getting tired of having to fix my car instead of working on it to improve it.

I worked for toyota and still a big yota fan (the older stuff!) so I knew more then I really wanted to about them. I needed a good warranty, 4dr sedan with decent room, but still had to be sporty and upgradeable.

for the price range the domestic market had nill to offer. for the options I wanted a yaris was the same price and smaller... sure it got better mileage and more was already out for it, but I'm daily running a 64 F100 will a warm small block, a mileage improvement isn't exactly hard LOL

basically it fit... and well I WANTED an evoX went to the dealership to get on the list, and reality grabbed me again and I just couldn't afford one. so I'll just have to sit in the GTS and make turbo noises like the rest of the kiddies LOL

ofcourse I'm still WAITING for my GTS *sigh*

 

After getting my s10 extreme totaled(not my fault) i needed a good reliable car with good gas mpg cause prices were high and the OZ fit. Didn't want a civic also

 

I got the Lancer because my old Maxima was dead. Sometimes it would start, other times it wouldn't. Only nice car on the lot and I always loved Evos in video games. So I settled for the watered down version.
