Bodywork peoples look here
I was offroading in my car and I met with a tree branch at approx 1km/h. Little did I know it made a neat little crease in the sheetmetal of the driver's rear door. Anyone know if/how this can be fixed? I tried to do it by removing the doorpanel from the inside, but the crash bars are all in the way...What would it cost to get this fixed by a bodyshop ballpark? Is it worth it?
It doesn't look too bad. Then again these are just online pictures, I'm sure it looks worse in person. A light layer of body filler and repaint should be fine, no need to pull it out. That dryice trick might work, haven't tried it out though.
That's what I'm talkin' about! I haven't had a dent in my car since I found out about the trick, I'll try it if it happens though. A few dudes I know said it worked, but they took it to a collision shop to do it
I guess they couldn't figure it out on their own.

Sadly, if it would cost you over $100 I wouldn't bother. But, if you care about your car you have to do it. I'd try the ice trick myself first. I've seen it posted on the forums before...

I don't think dry ice works for longer dents, more for round dents that can be popped straight out. Your crease would either have to be rubbed out from the other side, covered with body filler, or replace the whole door. Try some junk yards.
Yeah, dry ice won't fix that...but now that I think of it, it might fix that smaller dent O have in the trunk lid of my OZ. Thx for that comment!
Back to you...you'll need some body filler (I prefer FG filler) and respray that door.
