rrm piggyback v2
I installed mine not too long ago and I don't feel crap! Mine is installed perfect! Normal idle, no cel, all soldiered and poof! Not much to brag about...
If you are interested i might sell you mine for cheaper than RRM

I installed mine recently and didn't feel a thing until about week into owning it, then I started to feel some extra low end power but nothin in the higher rpms. So far my gas mileage has been pretty terrible with it but it could be due to driving more aggressively since I put it on...
I think its worth it, but I'm still thinking of selling so I can afford halo 3 and a 360

To bring things back on topic it is honestly all up to you and your funds when it comes to modding the u.s. lancer. Being that you have a automatic you have alot of drawbacks when it comes to getting power out of your car. I would say spend money on simple (cheap) boltons. Intake, full exhaust (header to catback) and if you still like it then buy the piggyback. Your not gonna get much gains with the piggy without the boltons.
I honestly think that a 4G63 swap is the way to go for power.

header = $300
catback = $400+
intake= $100+
that certainly isn't cheap. especially when you consider all of that will only get you about 5whp.
secondly, the 4G63 swap will require lots of time and money. more than what most people have, also without a turbo the 4g63 is fairly useless. Basically for all the time, effort and money you would put into an evo engine swap. you could drop a decent turbo with supporting mods, get about 250whp, and still be waaayyy under the cost of the engine swap.
2 problems with what you said. those "cheap" bolt ons aren't cheap

hey crypto i thought that the normal turbos from like rrm only give around 200 whp. which kit are you talking about that gives 250? i think prolly turbo would be my only engine mod...just find a used rrm one from somebody when im ready

Depends on the kit/parts you buy. Call RRM and they can discuss your options in more depth.
yeah ill give them a call sometime soon. i know this is off topic but i dont want to start a new thread for it. i just want to know how loud the lancer is with the rrm header. ive heard its pretty loud and since ive already got a loud muffler i was just wondering for future reference
