Ls > Oz?
Ls > Oz?
My ex has an Lancer LS. She told me that her's is the top of the line Lancer. She said it's better than the OZ Rally edition. According to her the OZ is an ES(economy?) with performance suspension. But that the LS(luxery?) is a better car.
Any truth to this? I figured you guys would know the real deal.
Thanks for clearifying,
Mike

The LS gets features like cruise control and a six speaker stereo (addition of two tweeters in the A-pillars) and non-branded Mitsu alloys. Off the top of my head that's about all it gains over the other two models. Shares the same suspension as the OZ which is actually not a performance suspension. The OZ simply gets body cladding, a unique black interior, and minute 15" OZ Cronos wheels to set it apart from the other lines. The ES does have a different suspension, lacks a rear sway bar and does not have alloys however, but the performance of all 3 trims is more than likely the same (with autos suffering some performance loss). Phew...I think that's it.

I'm curious cause I thought the OZ was a suspension package that could go on the LS, but she was saying it goes on the ES model and that if you get the OZ you won't be able to get some of the stuff the LS has. But I really don't know the difference between the models. Just wanted some info.
