I was just bored reading through here, and I read the first page of this thread... from 2002 I believe. Gas was $1.50 one guy said, man I wish it was that now. Anyway 2004 ES Auto... 73,000. 26-30 mpg.

 

Wow, the ES and OZ mileage ratings I keep seeing in here aren't that high! I'm averaging 33mpg in the city, and upwards of 40mpg on the highway. All I have for engine work is an AEM CAI. I drive the car really hard too.

Almost 6,000 miles... 4 months old

 

UPDATE: 2008 Lancer at 49,700+ miles!! OMG! Purchased on May 18, 2008. Approximately 2800 miles per month or 100 a day!
