this lady who lives down the street from me works at mitsubishi heaquarters, and is always driving a company vehicle. she had the 2004 lancer sportback (wagon). she said they made her drive it because she was making fun of it. the interior is still the same, except for its obvioulsy a wagon. she popped the hood for me and i got this big kool aid grin on my face. it has the 2.4 mivtec engive. she said it was pretty fast, but it was an automatic so im sure it would be a lot faster in the manulal version, it also had a stock header on it. anyway, theres whats new for next year i guess.

Good, I found another picture that shows us the backside of the new lancer wagon. This is where I think the lancer wagon looks pretty "flamboyant". It looks like a low to the ground mini-van.
