Sadly Slow Lancer

I borrow my friends Gtec today.. and i was doing 0-60/ Quater Miles/ HP.... My 0-60 was 8.53...My 1/4 mile was 16.83..My HP was 107....

Then after that i was racing againest my friends 1.6 which was bascially a Civic Si (Canada with 127 HP) I beat me in the quater mile and 0-60.. By .1 seconds.. Not by a lot but still beat me...As I was racing him, when he finshed his start of his 3rd gear, i was at 5000rpm on 2nd... After i switched to 3rd, i started gaining ALOT...

However, the car is still very slow, am was very disappointed..But i still did not lose faith in the 2.0 SOHC Lancer.. Hopefully when I get my upgrades, it will beat a Intergra GSR..

dont worry about it...

I bought the g-tech meter and I was running the same numbers with my stock car and now I have a Buschur 2.5" catback and an AEM CAI and I should be able to run about a low 16 quarter... I only spent a little over 600 dollars on perf mods so far..

keep it up!
